The magnificent centerpiece of this collector’s necklace is a rare 18th Century Ilocano cross made from tortoise & gold. The “mariposa” or butterfly pendant appears to be original to the cross & by the same goldsmith.

Highly unusual to find a cross of this type without a Corpus Christi.  In fact, this is the first time we see a four-leaf form in that central place. We paired this wonderful object with faceted black onyx & antique Filipino gold beads, also faceted. At the back, in 18 Karat Gold, is our logo-toggle.
